BirminghamBURGER returns, taking over Downtown Birmingham fromOctober 1 to 31, 2026. Local chefs will go head-to-head in a friendly, sizzling battle of taste, creativity, and presentation—as diners crown the reigning Best Burger in Downtown Birmingham.

What Is It?

BirminghamBURGER is a month-long culinary competition showcasing some of the city’s finest restaurants and chefs. All October long, each participating venue serves up a signature burger specially crafted for the event. You’re invited to dine at Downtown Birmingham restaurants and vote on as many as you wish—and vote on your favorites.

How It Works – Join the Fun

1. Visit any participating restaurant in Downtown Birmingham during October.

2. Order their event-exclusive burger creation.

3. Rate your burger based on presentation, creativity, and taste.

4. Dine and vote as often as you like.

5. Your votes determine the official winner.
