BirminghamBURGER returns, taking over Downtown Birmingham from October 1 to 31, 2026. Local chefs will go head-to-head in a friendly, sizzling battle of taste, creativity, and presentation—as diners vote to crown the Best Burger in Downtown Birmingham.

What Is It?

BirminghamBURGER is a month-long culinary competition showcasing some of the city’s finest restaurants and chefs. All month long, each participating restaurant serves up a signature, limited-edition burger specially crafted for the event. You’re invited to dine at participating Downtown Birmingham restaurants and rate as many burgers as you wish throughout the event.

How It Works – Join the Fun

1. Visit any participating restaurant in Downtown Birmingham during October.

2. Order their event-exclusive burger creation.

3. Rate the burger based on presentation, creativity, and taste.

4. Dine and rate as often as you like.

5. Your ratings determine the official winner.
